Ever since I finished my own braces treatment as a teenager, I knew that I wanted to become orthodontist! As a specialist orthodontist, it is incredibly rewarding to be able to provide both children and adults with the treatment they need to find confidence in their smile. Being able to give a patient the gift of confidence to smile is something I look forward to doing each and every day.
I completed my dentistry studies at the University of Sydney, graduating with Honours in 2007. After this, I worked as a general dentist treating medically complex patients at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Camperdown. Still excited to pursue orthodontics, I accepted a three year orthodontic training position at the University of Hong Kong (which I completed in 2012). During this time I also completed a Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, UK.
Since then I have been privileged to work as an orthodontist both in my hometown Sydney, as well as in Singapore. This has exposed me to a wide range of patients with vastly different and unique orthodontic issues.
Being an orthodontist involves countless clinical hours creating smiles but it is equally important to keep up to date with the latest technology and research for my own professional development and for my patients. I regularly attend local and international conferences to ensure that my knowledge is current and that I continue to provide state of the art treatment.
When not in the clinic I enjoy as much snowboarding, scuba diving and trying to play golf as I can.
